A Province-wide series of 1:250 000 digital raster maps derived originally from scanned lithographic layers associated with the paper maps published at a scale of 1:250 000 by the Canadian Government in the 1970s and 1980s. The map is considered a static product and is not updated. The map data is considered positionally accurate to 125M to 500M. A 10 metre pixel size is used for the map detail which is present against a shaded relief; grayscale background created from a TRIM derived 25 metre elevation grid. Each mapsheet is produced in the BC Albers projection. There are four text files that accompany each mapsheet. All five files make up the 1:250 000 Raster Base Map ? BC Albers distribution package (zipped file).

Maps are available in PDF, and TIF formats in UTM projection or in TIF format in BC Albers projection
