Health Service Delivery Area (HSDA) boundaries. 2018 boundary configuration. Sixteen areas covering the province used to provide program delivery and services.

The HSDAs are a mutually exclusive and exhaustive classification of the land area in BC. HSDAs are contiguous (land area is geographically adjacent) and fit within a geographical hierarchy structure, e.g., cannot violate higher-level geography boundaries Health Authorities (HA).

Purpose

Can be used in modelling health statistics as they relate to health service delivery areas. Determined and managed by the five Health Authorites, these sixteen regions act as aggregates of the smaller Local Health Areas.
