Column Name Short Name Data Type Data Precision Comments
BORDENNUMBER BORDENNUM VARCHAR2 13 BORDENNUMBER is a user maintained unique identification number. This is a primary key. In Canada, all archaeological sites are coded by what is known as the "Borden System". It assigns each location a sequence of 4 letters [DcRu] and a number [4] relating to a fixed map code. This is known as the Borden Number.
REGTY_SITECLASS CLASS VARCHAR2 4000 REGTY SITECLASS Indicates the site class. There are 5 options that can be chosen from a drop-down list to populate this column: Natural, Palaeontological, Postcontact, Precontact, and Traditional Use.
REGTY_TYPE TYPE VARCHAR2 4000 REGTY TYPE Indicates the site type. Choices available from a drop-down box are dependent on the SITECLASS column.
REGTY_SUBTYPE SUBTYPE VARCHAR2 4000 REGTY SUBTYPE Indicates the site subtype. Choices available from a drop-down box are dependent on the TYPE column.
REGTY_SITETYPEDESCRIPTOR DESCRIPTOR VARCHAR2 4000 REGTY SITETYPEDESCRIPTOR Indicates the site descriptor. Choices available from a drop-down box are dependent on the SUBTYPE column.
REGISTRATIONSTATUS REGSTATUS VARCHAR2 20 REGISTRATIONSTATUS Indicates the registration status. There are 5 options that can be chosen from a drop-down list to populate this column: Decision Pending, Federal Jurisdiction, Legacy, Registered, and Registry Candidate.
