Geology Faults are a component of the British Columbia Digital Geology Data Download: http://www.empr.gov.bc.ca/Mining/Geoscience/BedrockMapping/Pages/BCGeoMap.aspx. Geology fault line coverage was compiled at 1:100,000 scale as part of the BC Geological Survey mineral potential project, 1994-1996. Original coding was revised and rationalized in 2001-2002 by D.G. MacIntyre, and updated and revised in 2002-2004 by N.W.D. Massey. New mapping completed after 1996 is being added to this file through the BCGeologyMap project, lead by Yao Cui.
