Scheduled court appearances refers to the number of occasions when cases are scheduled to be before the court for a specific reason, such as the first appearance, case conference, trial, and sentencing. Note that not all scheduled appearances occur and they may be adjourned prior to the appearance date. Supreme Court criminal scheduled appearances are not currently available. The extracts report the total number of scheduled appearances in the 5 BC regions. This is a 5 year regional report by court level, division and class. Fiscal and Calendar Year datasets are available and are based on the scheduled appearance date. Fiscal Year datasets provide data from 2012-13 to 2016-17 (as of July 4, 2017); Calendar Year datasets provide data from 2012 to 2016 (as of April 18, 2017).
