Environmental Emergency Response (EER) Regions are administrative areas for responding to spills of hazardous materials and harmful substances within the Province of British Columbia. They are further subdivided into Environmental Emergency Response Districts.

Data Quality

The EER Regional Boundaries contain complete coverage for the Province of BC.

Lineage Statement

Boundary linework was derived based on four regions, using the Ministry of Environment's Regional Boundaries where possible. Specified location markers were used to refine boundary locations near junctions of highways and rail lines. Slight adjustments were made along outer boundaries to align with the provincial ABMS.
