These elogs provide information about the shallow and mostly unconsolidated materials overlying bedrock in the Peace River region of northeastern British Columbia. They can be used to interpret depth to bedrock, possible water bearing intervals, lithology and other aspects of the shallow subsurface.

These elogs will be of use to hydrogeologists working in the Peace River region.

Data Quality

The elogs are scanned from hardcopies of elogs recorded in the 1950s.

Lineage Statement

The elogs are scanned from hardcopies stored on the 6th floor of 1810 Blanshard St in Victoria. Thy comprise portions of exploration reports submitted to the government to fulfill the work requirements of exploration permits.
