Visualization Tool: This web app was created for the Howe Sound Cumulative Effects Pilot Project. It includes layers estimating the condition of Grizzly Bear population sustainability in the Howe Sound area based upon six key habitat and population indicators. It also includes supplemental information maps to help with the interpretation of these assessments. All of these layers were last updated in 2016/2017.

Description: This web app was published on January 2019. It features layers representing the Howe Sound Cumulative Effects Project area in British Columbia: six key Grizzly Bear population and habitat indicators (population status, human-caused mortality, hunter day density, front-country in habitat, capable secure core area, and mid-seral dense conifer stands in habitat); five supplemental Grizzly Bear population and habitat factors (bear density, road density, quality food, capable habitat protected, and front/back-country encounter classification); and other supplemental environmental information.
