Purpose

The lakes survey layer is intended to provide an easy way for users to identified if any parameter of a lake within British Columbia have been measured or not.

Lineage Statement

Surveys come from different data sets. Pre- 1985 are from the BC Lakes database, 1985 to 1995 are from the FHIIP database, 1996 to present are in the FDIS database. Over lapping years occur. Eg: 1995 and 1996 surveys may be from either the BC Lakes database or from FHIIP.
