The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries is responsible for administrating and enforcing BC's Fish and Seafood Act (FSA) and the Fish and Seafood Licensing Regulation (FSLR). The primary objective of this regulatory framework is to ensure safe fish, seafood and aquatic plants for the public's consumption. These features represent all vendors, processors, and receivers that have been licensed by the Food Safety Inspection Branch, Seafood Inspection Program. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries is responsible for administering BC's Meat Inspection Regulation under the Food Safety Act (FSA). These features represent all provincially inspected abattoirs licensed as Class A (slaughter, cut and wrap) or Class B (slaughter only).
