The Muskwa-Kechika Management Area (M-KMA) Report to the Premier and Public of BC provides a snapshot of current development and trends within the M-KMA boundary. The Report is produced by the Muskwa-Kechika Management Board. This report covers the years between 2013 and 2018. The 2013-2018 Report was was created with the help of the Ministry of Forests Lands Natural Resources Operations and Rural Development.

The M-KMA is situated in north-eastern British Columbia, Canada (see map below). At over 6.3 million hectares, it makes up just over 6% of the Province. Due, in part, to its remoteness and abundant resources, it is a globally significant area of wilderness, wildlife and cultures. The M-KMA is guided by a multi-stakeholder Advisory Board that includes First Nations, industry, local government, guide outfitters, environmental and tourism specialists and others.
