Spatial layer intended to display the locations of applications for groundwater rights at each proposed point of well diversion, as licensed under the Water Sustainability Act, along with some basic information about the Groundwater water licence application.
If an application has been granted in part or in full, it will no longer be visible in the Points of Well Diversion - Applications layer, but will appear in the Points of Well Diversion - Licences layer. If an application is refused it will appear within the Points of Well Diversion - Applications layer as refused with a different color than active applications.
The only applications that appear on this layer, are those that have been received and reviewed by FrontCounter BC and submitted to Water Management. Applications that are still in progress with FrontCounter BC do not appear in this layer.
