Habitat Objective – for each Elk Population Unit, the population objective was translated to quantity of suitable habitat required to support the carrying capacity, K, for Living in Winter (LIW), and Living in Growing (LIG) seasons based on the average density of elk for each of Class 1 through 3 habitat.
