Purpose

A seedlot is a collection of seeds registered under the Chief Forester's Standards for Seed Use. The Seedlot point geometry provides the mean collection source of a seedlot.

Data Quality
Lineage Statement

Based on Seed Planning and Registry System user intrepretion of the Natural Stand seedlot collection area, drawn by the user in the SeedMap environment at time of seedlot registartion.

Short Name: SDSDLTPNTM

Column Name Short Name Data Type Data Precision Comments
SEEDLOT_NUMBER SDLTNMBR VARCHAR2 45 The unique number (key) assigned to a quantity of seed of a particular species and quality from a given location collected at a given time.
ACTIVE_IND ACTIVE_IND VARCHAR2 3 'Y' when active, 'N' otherwise.
VEGETATION_CODE VGTTNCD VARCHAR2 72 A code which represents a species of tree or brush.
