This dataset consists of polygons outlining study areas. Study areas are intended to be areas within inventory projects where sampling actually takes place to make conclusions about the larger project area. Study areas are more fully defined here: http://www.for.gov.bc.ca/hts/risc/pubs/tebiodiv/sif/spifml20-05.htm#p394_29825. Each study area polygon has information about the inventory project with which it is associated, a project coordinator, study area name, and a link to more online information about the project.
