Additional Information


The dataset was created to provide better information for wildlife management, the protection of biodiversity and to support the Forest Practice Code. The intent on having a central repository for inventory data is to facilitate the storage and access of inventory results needed to make informed management decisions.

Lineage Statement

Data from inventories conducted all over the province has either been directly entered into the SPI_DC data capture tool or uploaded to it using a MS Excel Template Tool and MS Access Import Tool.
